Season of Friendship (CASE'd from Diane C.)
It almost seems to early to be making Christmas Cards, so I eased into this by using the Season of Friendship set and making a card for each season. A big thanks to Judy who came up with the idea to stamp some leaves on the ground for the fall tree- I went back and added some to my sample. Cool idea! I also re-stamped the pink flowers on the spring tree in craft ink so they would show up better. The snowflakes and the polka dots were done with white craft ink. It takes awhile to dry, but I think it's worth it- they look great!
Season of Joy
Everyone made 4 of this card, which uses the Merry Moments Designer Series Paper. Using DSP makes it easy to pick out colors for your projects- they're shown under the sample pictures in the Idea Book & Catalog.
This set only has 3 stamps in it, so we also did a 3x6 card to show another similar layout and different color combo. The Designer Series Paper for these cards is from the Patterns Pack III, which is a Level 1 Hostess choice on page 13 of the IB&C.
Sizzix Snowflake
I love my Big Shot, so I always do at least 1 project that uses it! This is the Snowflake #2 die shown on page 202 of the IB&C. Everyone made 2 cards that were Bordering Blue with Whisper White and 2 cards that were Whisper White with Bordering Blue. Each card had 1 of each color snowflake layered with a clear rhinestone brad in the middle. The "ready, set, snow!" greeting is from Best Wishes & More on page 64 of the IB&C.
Thanks to everyone who came to the Stamp-A-Stack! The next one will be Saturday September 26th. We'll do some more Christmas Cards using sets from the Holiday Mini!
