Jar of Flowers Shaker Card

I'm behind on sharing cards from our monthly Stamp Share! Because of COVID we didn't get together in March or April, we did a Zoom meeting in May, met at a park for June and then in July we got together at our new house so everyone could see it. This was the swap card I made for that night. It's a shaker card!

Colors: Basic Black, Daffodil Delight, Just Jade, Magenta Madness, Pool Party, Whisper White
This card is basically the same, just no shaker dome.

I was trying to make it look like the jar is on a table with a floral tablecloth.

What Was In The Box???

I can finally share what was in the Tiffany box I received last week! John watched me open it and volunteered to take a video, but I it had been a long day and I didn't want to be in a video! So instead, I took pictures as I opened it.

Tiffany Champagne Flutes with the Stampin' Up! logo on them!

This is where they are now...in the built in china hutch in the dining room

The card that came with them

The Leader's Summit started with a toast late yesterday afternoon and continues today and tomorrow. I wish we would have been able to get together in New Orleans since I've never been there, but it's a good thing we didn't with the hurricane! And still working on the house to finish things up for my parents. I guess things happen for a reason!

Have a great weekend!

Sandy's Friendly Silhouettes Timeless Tropical

When Sandy and Amy were here stamping with me a couple of weeks ago, Sandy asked if she could borrow my Friendly Silhouettes Dies. I haven't even used them yet, so I told her, yes, but she had to make me a card with them! This is what she made:

Thanks for this card too Sandy! I love it!

Sandy's Nothing's Better Than Cookies

I got together with Amy and Sandy to stamp a couple of weeks ago. We all needed some crafting time! I had to stay at home because there were people working on the house, so we stamped here. Sandy made us these adorable cards:

Thanks for the awesome card Sandy!

Paper Pumpkin May 2020 A Kit In Color

I actually got two Paper Pumpkin kits done recently! The May 2020 kit was "A Kit In Color" and was a sneak peek of four of the new 2020-2022 In Colors.

I used the "Happy Birthday" from Zany Zebras

Paper Pumpkin April 2020 My Wonderful Family

Before we moved, I had all of my Paper Pumpkin kits caught up! It had been quite awhile since that happened. But of course, after moving I didn't have much time to stamp so I fell behind again. Here is the April 2020 kit, "My Wonderful Family".

Instead of using the greetings from the included stamp set, I chose to make them into sympathy cards. For the first card, the greeting is from Itty Bitty Greetings.

The second card uses a greeting from the now retired Kindness & Compassion. I love that set and kept it even though it retired.

The second card has a matchbook fold.

Playful Alphabet Wedding Card

I also made a card for Chase and Sarah that was from Sarah's parents and us. It's CASE'd (Copy And Share Everything!) from Silke B. Her card was black and white, but I used the wedding colors again.

New Stampin' Up! Online Store

I forgot to mention yesterday that Stampin' Up! has updated their online ordering. This has affected all of the little pictures and links that I have at the end of each post for all of the products that I've used to make my cards/projects. If you look at my past posts, the names of the products are there but no pictures. If you click on those names, it just takes you to my Online Store, not to the page for that product like it used to. The people who do all the tech-y stuff are still working it all out. Kind of a pain, but the new website looks great and has more features!

Check it out by clicking HERE

New Online Store Features
There are many new features and improvements in the new online store, and we’ve summarized some of them below.

  1. The store is designed to work seamlessly on desktops, tablets, and mobile phones.
  2. New and improved store navigation provides an updated and enhanced shopping experience.
  3. The site utilizes new, larger imagery to better showcase our products and allow up-close details to be seen.
  4. New landing pages tell our product stories better.
  5. New sorting options and filters provide a more intuitive shopping experience, allowing customers to more easily find what they are looking for. The store’s organization and terminology are also more intuitive for new customers.
  6. The site utilizes inventory status information to show customers what items will be retiring soon, have low inventory, or are backordered so they can make informed purchasing decisions.
  7. Customers can mark their favorite items for later reference, and they can create and share personalized wish lists.
  8. A new Quick Shop feature makes it easy to add items to your cart. We have also simplified the checkout process.

Chase & Sarah Are Married!

 I'm back...finally!

It's been a crazy busy month with the remodeling projects to get ready for my parents to move into the apartment downstairs in our new house. Oh excuse me, the Executive Suite! My Dad came up with that! And getting ready for Chase and Sarah's wedding! They were married on August 8 in our backyard:

Here's the happy couple:

Did you notice Sarah's shoes? She switched into her custom made Converse after the ceremony. They're purple and green (their wedding colors- Sarah's favorite color is purple and Chase's favorite color is green) and the date is on the back, too. The little boy behind them is the son of Jo, who married them.

I just realized I never shared the Save The Date's that I made for them. I probably should do that before I share the wedding cards I made!

These were made with the now retired Detailed Floral dies. The ribbon is still current- it's 3/8" TriColor Ribbon on page 161 of the Annual Catalog. The green is now retired Call Me Clover. I printed the information on Whisper White in the closest match I could find on my computer for Gorgeous Grape.
