Painted Poppies Black & White With A Pop Of Color

Life has been crazy around here lately! We moved 2 1/2 weeks ago and have been trying to find places for everything in the new house while working on little projects. Fynlee has been keeping us busy, too. You gotta play with the puppy! Our son Chase and his fiance Sarah moved from an apartment to a house last weekend so we helped them with some packing and moving. And now my parents are getting ready to sell their house so they can move in with us. That hasn't left any time for stamping or blogging! So my posts may be sporadic for awhile until I can get caught up.

I really like today's cards! I saw a similar card in a demonstrator group on Facebook and tried a few of my own versions. All the stamping is in black Memento ink and I colored with Stampin' Blends.

Poppy Parade and Old Olive

I love black and white with a pop of color!

Bottom left: Daffodil Delight, bottom right: Petal Pink

When I colored these, I didn't go all the way to the edges of the stamped images.

Label Me Bold Small Bloom Punch Birthday

Another great layout for using up scraps! The Small Bloom Punch was a Level 2 Choice for Sale-A-Bration this year. It will be in the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog, so if you didn't get it, you'll still be able to! Such a fun little punch!

Colors: Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral, Coastal Cabana, Whisper White

Label Me Bold is on the Retiring List. Order it before it's gone!

Use It Up Brusho Crystal Color/Pigment Sprinkle Balloons

When I was going through my scrap box, I found some pieces of watercolor paper that I had tried the pigment sprinkles on. I decided to punch some balloons out of them! I also had some of the watercolor paper left, so I cut that into three pieces and did a watercolor wash on them. These ended up fun, bright birthday cards!

The blue layer is two circles and I cut off the edges to match the card base. I thought it looked like more balloons in the background!

The watercolor paper that I used was actually what Stampin' Up! carried before the Fluid 100, so it might look a little different. And the pigment sprinkles that I used were the Brusho Crystal Colors that we had in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog. The Pigment Sprinkles replaced those for the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog and are now on the Retiring List.

Butterfly Gala Rainbow of Butterflies Part 2!

After making the cards I shared yesterday, I had the idea to replace one of the small butterflies with a large one. I also used a die from the Ladybug dies that were available during Sale-A-Bration to make it look like the large butterfly was moving. I made six cards, each with a different colored large butterfly:

All of them together! Which is your favorite?

Lots of punched butterflies, waiting to go on the cards!
