Birds Of A Feather Let It Snow

We had our monthly Stamp Share Monday night. I made a really cute card with Birds Of A Feather, but it's CASE'd (Copy And Share Everything) from a class I bought from another demonstrator. I made some small changes, but I don't think I'm supposed to share it online, so I'll just share part of it:

Colors: Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, Real Red, silver, Whisper White

The bird is colored with just the light Bermuda Bay Stampin' Blends, and it's a pretty close match for Coastal Cabana! The hat and beak are dark Real Red and Daffodil Delight. I shared the links for both light and dark as well as the combo packs for all the Blends.

There is Wink of Stella on the hat. Sometimes it will smear when you use it on a stamped solid image, but it worked great on what was colored here!

Did you notice that my star is silver and not copper? I colored it with a silver Sharpie marker! It dries quickly, but I ended up getting some on the plastic sheet the stars come on which got under my finger nail when I peeled them up. Oh well.

The Curly Ribbon is really cute, but the ends do unravel.

If you look really close, you might be able to see that the embossed part has lines in it. That was a happy accident! I was going to use the Subtle Embossing Folder for that layer, but then I realized the sample used the Swirls & Curls Embossing Folder. So my sample has both, just to see what would happen and because I didn't have time to cut a new piece! I like the way it turned out!
