Birds Of A Feather Thanksgiving Polaroid

We had our monthly Stamp Share last night. I love getting together with these ladies! We always have so much fun and there are so many great ideas and projects shared! If you would like to join us, all you have to do is sign up to be a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator! I'd love to welcome you to my team!

This is my swap I made for last night. I made a swap in April where I used one of the largest Stitched Rectangle dies to cut out a window in the front of a Thick Whisper White card base. Then out of that piece, I cut a square with the Stitched Shapes dies. What was left looked like the frame for a Polaroid picture, so I decided to save them. I found them again the other day and decided they would be perfect for the turkey from Birds Of A Feather! He looks so proud holding his pie- just like he's posing for a picture!

Colors: Basic Black, Bronze, Cajun Craze, Ivory, Mango Melody, Merry Merlot, Mint Macaron, Pretty Peacock, Smoky Slate, Whisper White

We don't have Merry Merlot Stampin' Blends, so I used my Stampin' Write Marker to color the "snood" (yep, I had to look it up to find out what it's really called!) on my turkey.

After I colored the turkey, the background was too white, especially with the white frame, so I colored it with a light Mint Macaron Blends Marker. Much better!

Here's the inside...my upline Betty has been encouraging us to decorate the inside of our cards as well.
