My last card for the Stamp Share For Leaders Holiday Catalog swap is my favorite! I love Cardinals! We've had one hanging out in our back yard this summer, especially since Sydne passed away. This was the first card I made when my pre-order arrived and even though it was putzy, I love it! And it shows you don't have to use Christmas sets just for the holidays!

I tried coloring a Cardinal with Stampin' Blends, but didn't want to do that much coloring (remember- 20 swaps!) so I stamped on Cherry Cobbler card stock. Here's the difference:
My Cardinals all stamped and ready to cut out. I used the die, and then used Paper Snips to cut them out even closer.
The beaks are stamped on Pumpkin Pie and fussy cut
For the eyes, I colored over the black with a White Chalk Marker, then used a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker to add a small dot of black to the center.
I had fun making these!
