Stamp Share For Leaders Event Name Tags

The Stamp Share For Leaders group just had a big Demonstrator event called "Creative Connections". There were lots of project demonstrations and some business ideas, too. I didn't get a chance to take any pictures of the displays, but I thought I'd share the name tags we all got. I helped with registration, which included helping to put these together. Everyone's name was printed on Whisper White card stock so the pieces could be cut 2" wide, which is the perfect size for the Delightful Tag Topper Punch. The hearts were for prize patrol- everyone had 1, 2, 3, or 4. The plaid layer is also 2" wide and punched. The ribbon was tied onto a small safety pin, which was used to attach the name tag.

Sandy's Magnolia Memory Flower

Sandy did the second Make & Take at our September Stamp Share. This card uses dies that don't have coordinating stamps, so it was fitting that there is no stamping on this card. It's pretty!

Lisa's Band Together Forever Lovely

Lisa did our first Make & Take at the September Stamp Share. It's a pretty card, but it also has a surprise in the middle! She called it a "book card", because when you open it, it looks like an open book inside.

Here's the inside of mine, which isn't quite right

Here's the picture I took of Lisa's card (below). I put my inside piece all the way into the fold. I didn't notice hers was about an inch away from the fold.

Colors: Basic Black, Rococo Rose, Whisper White

Toile Christmas Peaceful Boughs Birch Non-Christmas Cardinal

My last card for the Stamp Share For Leaders Holiday Catalog swap is my favorite! I love Cardinals! We've had one hanging out in our back yard this summer, especially since Sydne passed away. This was the first card I made when my pre-order arrived and even though it was putzy, I love it! And it shows you don't have to use Christmas sets just for the holidays!

Colors: Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Garden Green, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White

I tried coloring a Cardinal with Stampin' Blends, but didn't want to do that much coloring (remember- 20 swaps!) so I stamped on Cherry Cobbler card stock. Here's the difference:

My Cardinals all stamped and ready to cut out. I used the die, and then used Paper Snips to cut them out even closer.

The beaks are stamped on Pumpkin Pie and fussy cut

For the eyes, I colored over the black with a White Chalk Marker, then used a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker to add a small dot of black to the center.

I had fun making these!
