Cookie Cutter Christmas Gingerbread Man

These cards are made from some leftover pieces of Designer Series Paper from last year's Holiday Catalog. They were perfect for the Cookie Cutter Christmas Gingerbread Man!

The bow on the top card is made with some really old quilted satin ribbon that I found in my stash of retired supplies. It's attached with a glue dot.

You Move Me Mini Treat Bag Thanks!

Apparently I started this card awhile ago, but for some reason didn't finish it and put the parts in a drawer with some other started but unfinished parts. I decided it was time to make them into cards!

Snowflake Sentiments Swirly Snowflakes Silver Season's Greetings

The last card I CASE'd (Copy And Share Everything!) from the Holiday Catalog for the Product Extravaganza is probably my favorite! It's so pretty and was very easy to make!

Colors: Silver, Soft Sky, Whisper White

The Big Shot Die Brush really helps with this thinlit! After running it through the Big Shot forwards and backwards, I used the die brush and all the little pieces popped out. There were a few that were caught in the cut out, but they were all cut and loose!

Santa's Suit Coming Down The Chimney Card & Box

Today's card is an idea I came up with after seeing a similar card and box at the Creative Connection. My first thought when I saw it was that it looked like a chimney! So here is my "Santa Coming Down The Chimney" card!

The box is 2 x 2 x 2", so I started with a piece of card stock that was 6 x 6" and scored it at 2" and 4" in both directions. I cut out 2 of the middle pieces so it looked like an "H", folded on all of the score lines, then brought the ends together and attached them with Tear & Tape to make the box.

For the lid, I started with a piece of card stock that was 3 1/8 x 3 1/8". I scored it at 1/2", turned it, scored again at 1/2" and kept going until all four sides were scored. This made it so it was just a bit larger than my 2" box and fit easily on top of it. I cut one side of each little corner to create flaps so I could adhere them to make the box top, but before I put it together, I attached a 1 1/2" square of Basic Black and cut a slit in the middle to put my Santa legs through.

To make the cut out for the card, I cut slits at 2 1/2 and 4 1/2" that are 3/4" down, then cut the line between them to remove the section for the box. You don't want this opening to be too big or your box won't stay in place, so make sure the distance between your cuts will be the same size as your box!
