Betty asked me to do a demonstration for our Stamp Share Tuesday night. Since I had just received my Thoughtful Branches Bundle, I decided to show how well it works with Sheltering Tree! It ended up a Show & Tell rather than a demo, but everyone liked it! This is the display I made:

Top Middle: Sheltering Tree trunk- Early Espresso, Sheltering Tree leaves- Wild Wasabi, Thoughtful Branches- Garden Green

Picture of my display board at the Building. I try to change the samples once a month. This was June's, showcasing the "You've Got This" stamp set. I made some of them, but most are swaps I've received.
Instead of having the July Stamp-A-Stack this morning, I went to the funeral for Dean, one of John's friends. They used to drive for the same trucking company. He passed away on the 4th of July after his second battle with cancer. He was only 49. We miss you Scrapper!
I wasn't sure if I should title today's post Throwback Thursday or Christmas In July, because it's both! I found some pieces of retired Santa & Co Designer Series Paper in my stash and my first thought when I looked at the pieces with the moose was "Merry Christmoose!". That was the name of the first stamp set I bought from Stampin' Up! in 2000! These were fun to make, even though there isn't much stamping on them:
The inside, with the greeting from Merry Christmoose:
This last piece didn't have any green on it, so I put it on a yellow card base instead:
This is the stamp set- my very favorite! I don't think I'll ever sell it!
The embellishments are also retired (they were in the Holiday 2015 Catalog), but they're very similar to the new Enamel Shapes in the Annual Catalog.
This card came to be because of a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" piece and a long narrow strip of Night of Navy card stock that didn't match the rest of what I had. They must have been from an older pack. I decided to make a card with them to use them up!
