Projects From Stampin' Up!'s Leadership Event

Stampin' Up!'s Leadership event is going on right now in Orlando. I could have gone, but just couldn't get excited about going to Orlando again. If I'm going to Florida, I'd rather be sitting on the beach! Anyway, they are live streaming some of the general sessions so I still get to see what's going on. I've taken screen shots of some of the projects they've shared and decided to share them with you!

The first two are from Shelli, co-founder and CEO of Stampin' Up! and the last four are from Sara, Shelli's daughter, using items from Sale-A-Bration (S-A-B).

Blendabilities Color Chart

Amy shared this Blendabilities Color Chart at the January Stamp Share. She brought blank copies printed on Whisper White card stock so we could all color our own. Awesome!

You Plus Me Stacked With Love "Mini" Mini Treat Bags

My awesome upline Betty's January Stamp Share was last week. We get together once a month and it's something we all look forward to! We do some stamping, share projects we've been working on, talk about Stampin' Up! and have a swap.

For my swap this month, I decided I wanted to use up what was left of my Stacked With Love Designer Series Paper Stack since I probably won't have another class before Valentine's Day. My first thought was to use the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit, but the paper isn't wide enough. But then I thought, why not just make a narrower bag?

This is how I lined up the DSP. If you look at the bottom, you can see there are 3 1/2 of the zig zags below the paper. This seemed to be the best way to line it up and have the 2 pieces come together nicely. That's actually the backside of the bag, which sticks up higher than the front, so I wanted the zig zags to match up.

I cut the smaller piece like usual

My finished swap. If you make the Mini Treat Bag the usual size, it's 3 11/16" wide. Mine are 3".

The tag inside- I used the strip of DSP leftover from cutting the smaller piece on these

15 "mini" Mini Treat Bags- all ready to swap!
