We had our monthly Stamp Share last Tuesday. I can't tell you how much I look forward to this every month! Such a great group of women and so many awesome ideas! Here is the card I made for our swap, which is a sneak peek of the Occasions Catalog. It starts January 5th!
Check out the inside:
Stamp Set: Party With Cake
Colors: Basic Black, Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo, Mint Macaron, Whisper White

Both the Occasions Catalog and Sale-A-Bration start on January 5th! Start going through your supplies to see what colors you need for ink pads and card stock! This is a great time to stock up and get FREE STUFF!
I didn't get a chance to play with the Woodland Embossing Folder much. It seems like every time I wanted to use it for a class it was on backorder! Stampin' Up! said it was way more popular than they anticipated and they couldn't keep up with the demand. It is on the Retiring List for the Holiday Catalog and is SOLD OUT, but...
The Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (item 139673) has been so popular that we are going to do something that we don't normally do: we've decided to bring it back in the 2016 annual catalog! While bringing an item out of retirement is not something we generally do, we just couldn't ignore the fact that you sold so many of these embossing folders!
Colors: first 3 cards- Garden Green, Soft Sky, Whisper White
last card- Crumb Cake, Real Red, Whisper White
For the first 3 cards, I inked the embossing folder with Soft Sky ink, then stamped the trees right on the embossing folder. I put the white card stock in the folder and ran it through the Big Shot, so it ended up embossed and stamped all at once. I trimmed them just a little bit smaller each time so more of the green background of the card base would show. I couldn't decide which one I liked best! I added a greeting on a banner and that was it! All 3 of them sold at a craft sale very quickly!
I ran the Crumb Cake card stock through the embossing folder for the last card and then sponged white ink onto the trees. Added the red bird and the greeting on a banner. It sold right away too!
I can't wait for this folder to come back so I can use it in a class!
Have you seen the Tag A Bag Gift Boxes in the big catalog? They have an acetate sleeve that slides over the box, so you could show off what is inside. I chose to make solid covers for these- they fit under the acetate. For the first box, I used a piece of retired Designer Series Paper from last year's Holiday Catalog.
For the second box, I used a piece of Real Red card stock.
